 こんにちわ！ わたしはガムとおんがくとあにめとえいががすきです。 As I said, I like video games. I would say that my favorite franchise is the  Halo series. My older brothers introduced me to it, and I think that its gameplay is very fun. Additionally, they have a sandbox mode where players can design their own mini-games that add a new dimension of gameplay to the game. I would have to say that my favorite part of the series is its complex story which spans across not only the main games but also books, comics, and movies.  I also like music a lot. I don't have a specific genre or specific song that I like most. I am in the marching band, so I end up listening to a lot of instrumental music. I also like a lot of Japanese music. Since we talked about the particle が in class, I dug up a song called 好き好大好き （すきすきだいすき）that I hadn't listened to in a while. It's a pretty interesting song on a musical level.  Below I have attached my favorite Japanese song. It is called 人として which, according to google translate, mean "as a person." It is a little too complex for me to understand all the way, but I think that it is a beautiful song. I have specifically attached the acoustic version. I first heard this song while at a Japanese bathhouse called a せんと. They had a T.V. with a singing show on, and I asked the Japanese students I was with who the band performing was. I later found the song and have listened to it since. I hope you enjoy it too.

 こんにちは！ This week for our blog post, we were tasked with watching some sort of Japanese media, preferable without subtitles. For this I watched Chibi Godzilla (ちびゴジラ) which is accessible through Toho's official youtube channel. I will link that episode I watched below, so you can check it out if you want.  For starters, I love Godzilla. Growing up, it was one of my favorite movie franchises. I was always fascinated by its practical special effects. I thought it was so cool that they built an entire miniature city for the actor in the monster suit to destroy. It always seemed so detailed. Through this love of Godzilla, I found Chibi Godizlla. It is an animated show made for children, so it's simpler than other forms of media. This is mostly why I chose it for this assignment.
